But just six months later, the company signed a contract to reopen the same complex as a 1,900-bed immigration detention center.

DiamondBack Covers reduced its 40-hour week to 35 without cutting pay for workers. He thinks that blue-collar workers and their employers can both benefit from a shorter working week. The idea of cutting workers' hours without cutting pay, sometimes called the "four-day week", is gaining traction, but it's a movement that's often associated primarily with desk jobs. DiamondBack Covers, which makes heavy-duty covers for pickup trucks, employs about 115 workers at its factory in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania. The shorter week also appears to help attracting new staff at a time when many factories have struggled to find workers.

Social media users are sharing the false claim that Pennsylvania ballot boxes are pre-loaded with ballots and that this is evidence of election fraud. The Centre County PA Elections & Voter Registration office said 18 ballots in total were placed in ballot boxes in a county prior to the official opening of ballot boxes, Examples can be seen (here) and (here). The eighteen ballots were moved to the elections office and “segregated until adjudication at a future public meeting of the Centre County Board of Elections”. Centre County in Pennsylvania had 18 ballots placed in ballot boxes before the official voting period began, the county’s elections office said. These ballots were returned to the elections office.
